THE ROOTS OF LIFE

A self-taught artist, Subrata has learnt art through constant devotion and practice. He feels it is the best medium to discover one’s inner self and strongly considers painting as his profession, life, love, passion, a way of relaxation and the reason of his existence. His forte is painting women in the backdrop of Rajasthan. He loves to paint the “Desert Beauty” as he is fascinated by the uniqueness and the culture of the land. His ‘Rajasthani ladies’ are divinely beautiful and rich both in details and colors. Subrata is also working on a Radha Krishna series that comes alive on canvas with a sense of joy and fulfillment. Subrata doesn’t believe in pain and sadness and hence through art he tries to add something in the world which will remain even after he is gone!
