ELEGANT and SENSUAL
Born in 1971, and grew up in the bustling cultural city of Kolkata. Mintu Mallick has a Bachelors in Visual Arts from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, in the year 1993. Mintu Mallick has been painting since 1993 and has been a part of numerous Group Exhibitions and Solo Shows in India and exhibited his works at International Exhibitions. Mintu Mallick has received many awards for his noted works and his works now belong to many private & corporate collections.
He intricately weaves together femininity and spirituality in his mesmerizing acrylic paintings. Through skillful portrayals, he captures the saintly presence of a woman adorned in a white sari, engaged in ritualistic elements. Each brushstroke pays homage to the power of feminine energy and the deep-rooted ceremonial traditions found in India’s religious spaces.
