Born in New Delhi in 1972, Mohan Singh is an acclaimed artist renowned for his vibrant and colorful paintings that explore the complexities of contemporary Indian society. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Art in Delhi in 1994, followed by a Master of Fine Arts in 1996, Singh embarked on a creative journey that would captivate audiences around the world.
Singh’s artistic career reached a milestone in 2000 when he unveiled his first solo exhibition at Galerie Ganesha, garnering widespread critical acclaim and popular recognition. Through his unique blend of figurative and abstract constructs, Singh’s paintings delve into the profound transformations occurring in Indian society, particularly the far-reaching effects of urbanization and globalization.
