Interconnectedness

Born in Mumbai on 14 November, Jayshree Savani is a self-taught contemporary abstract artist whose creative journey has been shaped by an enduring passion for art, spirituality, and self-exploration. Coming from a family of academic professionals, she pursued studies in Commerce, System Analysis, Fashion Technology, and Fashion Design before dedicating herself to the visual arts.

Alongside painting, Jayshree has explored diverse creative disciplines including dance, choreography, theatre, leadership training, fashion design, and educational initiatives, enriching her artistic perspective through a multidisciplinary approach.

Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by meditation, the interconnectedness of all life, and the belief that the universe functions as a harmonious whole. Working primarily in acrylics on canvas and paper, she uses abstraction as a vehicle for introspection, translating inner vibrations, emotions, and elemental forces into layered visual experiences.

Since her first solo exhibitions in Mumbai in 2008, Jayshree has exhibited extensively across India and internationally through solo shows, group exhibitions, art fairs, and curated showcases. Notable recent exhibitions include Blue (Pradarshak Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2026), Art Continuum (Goa, 2026), Cosmic Conversations (Mumbai, 2025), Enchanting Scapes (Mumbai, 2023 & 2024), and Soulful Symphony (Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2021). Her work has also been featured at multiple editions of the India Art Festival, World Art Conclave, CSMA New York, and several leading galleries across Mumbai, Goa, Delhi, Kolkata, and Pune.

Through her abstract compositions, Jayshree seeks to evoke a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, inviting viewers to experience transformation, contemplation, and a deeper connection with the infinite.
