Pooja G. Mhatre is a contemporary Indian artist whose work is deeply rooted in symbolic narratives and mythological themes. A graduate of Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, she has been actively contributing to the Indian art scene through national exhibitions and awards.

Her artistic journey is marked by notable recognitions, including awards at national competitions by Brahma Kumaris (2022), Chitramayee Art Gallery (2021), and Badlapur Art Gallery (2020). She has been selected for prestigious exhibitions such as Lalit Kala Akademi National Exhibition (2021) and Rabindranath Tagore National Exhibition (2021), alongside participating in esteemed platforms like India Art Festival and Jehangir Art Gallery.

Mhatre’s work embodies contemporary Indian sensibilities, blending tradition with abstraction. Her paintings often explore divine symbolism, as seen in Protector, a piece inspired by Lord Vishnu’s Matsya Avatar. Through intricate forms and layered compositions, her art invites engagement, evoking both spiritual and philosophical reflections.
