Shamika Kalghatgi is an artist and architect based in India, known for her unique synergy between art and architecture. A gold medalist at the National Level Drawing Exam in India, Shamika is a self-taught artist whose passion for creative expression has seamlessly blended with her architectural background.

Her work is deeply inspired by nature, particularly the delicate and vibrant beauty of butterflies. Each of her paintings begins with the selection of a butterfly—its colors and patterns sparking the palette and mood of the piece.
